Business Problem

Hiring marketplaces are centralised by default — the platform sits in the middle, takes the fee, sets the rules and owns the dispute.

That creates four costs Nebulai wanted to remove:

• High counterparty risk — the middleman holds the trust, not the contract

• Capital locked out — no route for investors to fund a partner's project

• Expensive contracting — arbitrary rules, high fees, siloed ecosystems

• No fair arbitration — opaque ratings, nowhere to resolve a dispute

The design question: How do you bridge the digital divide between customers and solution partners in a blockchain environment — and do it for five very different users at once (Customer, Solution Partner, Investor, Federator, Admin), without any of them drowning in on-chain complexity?

Design Impact

• One IA, five roles. Mapped a single architecture that serves customers, solution partners, investors, federators and admins — each with the right depth of information, none with a separate product to maintain.

• Complexity made scannable. Card views for quick triage, list views for density, progressive disclosure on expand — the core tension of the project was volume of information versus cognitive load, and layout did the heavy lifting.

• Trust made visible. Wallet, balance and transaction states surfaced up front with a single payment CTA, so the money layer reads as clear rather than crypto-opaque.

• Dispute resolution designed in, not bolted on. The Federator role gave the marketplace a fairness mechanism competitors don't have.

• A system, not screens. Montserrat + 6 colour palette with full button state coverage gave the team a professional, secure-feeling UI that scaled across web and mobile.
