Suryoday — Digital VR Banking Experience
Digital Product Design · BFSI · Financial Inclusion
Business Problem
A small finance bank serves two very different audiences at once urban digital-first customers and first-time, low-literacy rural borrowers from a single product surface.
Product depth worked against comprehension: savings tiers, term deposits, micro home loans, JLG, vehicle loans and inclusive finance all competed for the same real estate.
Rates, eligibility and charges were buried in PDFs and tables, forcing branch calls for questions the site should answer.
Trust, not features is the conversion lever in regulated banking. The experience had to signal safety, transparency and RBI/DICGC compliance without turning into a wall of disclaimers.
Fragmented journeys between marketing site, application flows and net banking broke momentum right at the point of intent.
